Class heading in trademark applications will no longer acceptable in Yemen

The GeneralDepartment for Intellectual Property in Yemen has issued a public notice on May4, 2016 that the use of class heading in trademark applications will be nolonger acceptable and the applicant should specify the goods/services forregistration in details.

The said decisioncame in force in Yemen as from 6 June 2016.
