Increase in Publication Fees in Yemen

The Yemeni Ministry of Industry and Trade issued the Ministerial Decision No. 105 of the year 2014 regarding the increase in fees for publication in the Official Trademark Gazette (AL-TIJARAH).

Such increase will be applied to all IP issues (trademarks, patents, industrial designs and drawings, etc…) as of August 7, 2014, as follows:
  • Charges for publication of trademarks will be increased by 48.51%
  • Charges for publication of industrial designs and drawings will be increased by 30%
  • Charges for publication of patents will be increased by 30%
