By: Joseph K. G. (Mar 02, 2014)

This is to advise that the Algerian Trade Mark Office (INAPI) has recently started to request a simple signed power of attorney (PoA) with respect to each application for the same applicant. One PoA for many applications for the same application is no longer accepted.

Furthermore, the following information must be indicated clearly on each PoA:
  • Full name and address of the applicant;
  • Name and title of signatory person;
  • Trademark name and prints of the mark if the mark is logo, and
  • The intended class(es) of goods/services of the application.
